What is eggtweeter?

eggtweeter is an egg-timer for tweets - it lets you schedule tweets. If you need to send a time-sensitive tweet from your Twitter account, you can schedule the tweet with us, and we'll take care of the rest. This can be helpful with promotions, birthdays, product launches or other sorts of news you need to send out - but don't want to forget.

What does beta mean?

We're experimenting with the service right now while we find the best way to support it into the future. Making it an open beta will help us out as well as Twitter users. We'll remove the beta tag in the future and put it into full production. If you have any problems with eggtweeter please let us know via the "contact us" page link below.

How much does it cost?

While eggtweeter is in beta, it's free. After it goes out of beta, there may be a very reasonable subscription fee. We want to make sure eggtweeter can continue to operate well into the future so we're still deciding on the best model to do that.

Any plans to support Facebook or Google+?

Possibly. At the moment we're working on providing the best experience for Twitter users. But we aren't ruling out other social media services.

What is eggtweeter's relationship to KyMaLabs?

eggtweeter is KyMaLabs' third service after Momentomail and Wormwall. We've learned a ton by running our first two services. eggtweeter is us putting those lessons into action. We still run the other two services, so feel free to jump over and give them a try!

How far ahead can I schedule Tweets?

When you create an account with us, we exchange some information with Twitter that gives us authorization to send Tweets on your behalf. Twitter claims this authorization won't expire so there shouldn't be a limit.

I have several Twitter accounts, can I send from them as well?

Of course! However, you'll have to login to each of them separately.
